Chief Clinical Officer

Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

Job Description: We have an extraordinary opportunity for a Chief Clinical Officer. We are offering a healthy work-life balance with flexibility, great benefits AND MORE!!

Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Clinical Officer provides leadership and oversight of all clinical programs and provides clinical guidance and supervision to core clinical staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to fostering superior quality care, standardizing clinical protocols, developing clinical strategic goals and program expansion and contributing to the recruitment and retention of clinical staff.

Job Qualifications:

- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, and have 2 years experience as a professional nurse with administrative/supervisor experience in health care. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times are essential.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.

- Strong computer knowledge is required. The ability to utilize basic and complex computer software integral to agency operations after initial training period and multi-tasking capability is a must.

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be net by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a stressful environment and to effectively deal with stress is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical standards for all clinical support employees, beginning within the hiring process and continuing through their entire employment to ensure clinical competency.

- Oversees clinical projects and ensures that Director and Supervisors have the needed resources to meet project goals.

- Identifies, facilitates, implements, and performs on-going evaluation of new programs and service lines.

- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations across the organization including all quality assurance meetings and required quarterly requirement for all Polaris members.

- In collaboration with others in leadership, develops operational plans for clinical support areas; communicates and continuously evaluates plans.

- Ensures appropriate clinical education is available within Continual platform to support the development and continued competencies of clinical employees.

- Be proactive in identifying where, when, and for which entity clinical staff is needed.

- Develops, plans and implements policies, procedures and protocols to support clinical and other patient care delivery.

- Conducts annual reviews for direct support team.

- Responsible for the revision of Healthcare Policies and Procedure.

- Develops and supports internal controls to ensure that policies and operating procedures are followed, necessary controls are effective and efficient.

- Perform, at least, a quarterly onsite inspection of all clinical environments.

- Assist in interview and hiring of new Clinical Staff.

- Other roles as assigned by COO/CEO.
