Job Title: Finance Director

Location: Where the party never stops! (16778 146th St SE, Suite 140, Monroe Washington 98272)

Base Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

You're not just about numbers; you're about making those numbers sing through analysis, understanding, modelling, and forecasting, then making them dance via strategic decision-making. Check. You’re eager for an opportunity that places you working directly with the CEO, while self-driven enough to deliver results with little direction. Double-check. You’re ready to dive into every corner of the business in a cross-functional role. Triple-check. You may not have experience in all areas of the business, but you’re motivated to grow in your career by being hands-on with more than just a numbers. Job Responsibilities:

§ Accounting Operations (of course!)

§ Wholesale: Price list, portal maintenance, Party Filiates Association relations, trade shows, etc.

§ Licensing: Contracting, advances, royalty reports, forecasting, etc.

§ Pricing: Analyzing margin and price setting.

§ Inventory Management: Identifying slow-moving inventory with suggestions for liquidation, assuring all inventory records are up to date with their attributes, determining reorders and placing POs on a schedule that prevents out of stock conditions, etc.

§ Competitive Analysis: Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to stay informed about changes in the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate the product or capitalize on emerging market needs.

§ Amazon and Other Sales Channels Performance: Keeping a close eye on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales figures, customer feedback, and market reception to gauge product and tactic success and identify areas for improvement. Ensuring compliance.

§ Marketing Optimization: Identifying which strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional efforts yielded the best results and adjusting plans.

§ No direct reports yet, but lots of growth and opportunity for learning and adding team members.

§ And more.

You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field, or you have equivalent experience providing you with the required financial acumen.

You never let a decimal point out of place, and you spot discrepancies faster than you can say "surprise!"

Experience managing complex situations? Bonus points, but not required.

You can navigate through ambiguity and operate with a sense of urgency.
