Spherion is Hiring a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC Near Monroe, NJ
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our
facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
- Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions.
- Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May
- Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job
- Other duties as assigned.
Skillsprior experience in the same or similar role a MUST

Experience1-4 years
Qualifications
- Preferred two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
- Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair technique.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to work overtime with a flex schedule on the weekends.
- Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
