Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Grinder with a proven track record to join our team.

We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications.

Summary : Processing Grinders will separate material by color and operate grinder equipment to produce regrind for production use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Separate material based on color
• Operate forklift (pick up material to be ground at molding machines)
• Load conveyors
• Operate grinding machines
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on grinding machines and conveyors
• Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Job Requirements :

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Successful completion of Mechanical Reasoning Assessment
