CHURCH HILL CLASSICS LTD is Hiring an Ecommerce Manager (Hybrid) Near Monroe, CT

Our mission is to “Frame What Matters Most,” and we seek an experienced Ecommerce Manager who will drive profitable growth by leveraging our strength in manufacturing “wow-worthy” diploma and recognition frames—right here in Connecticut for colleges and universities across the country! This position focuses on managing our e-commerce website, SEO, content strategy, conversion optimization, and launching new websites. You will also assist in product set-up and optimization, ensuring our top products are promoted effectively. If you are a multitasker by nature who can successfully set priorities and drive success across our e-commerce website, we are excited to learn more about you. This hybrid position requires the candidate to work onsite in our Monroe, CT location 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Website Development and Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and analyze website traffic and metrics to identify improvement areas, including SEO and regular e-commerce site audits.
  • Implement and execute CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) tests and recommendations with the development team to improve website conversion rates, including A/B testing.
  • Ensure a user-friendly and optimized e-commerce website, including mobile optimization and website speed.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in e-commerce operations by optimizing processes, workflows, and tools.

E-commerce Data Analytics and Performance Optimization:

  • Regularly analyze e-commerce performance metrics, identifying trends, and generating insights to make data-driven decisions.
  • Utilize analytics tools and attribution models to track and optimize website performance.
  • Set performance goals and KPIs, and develop data-driven strategies to maximize website performance.
  • Analyze and report on e-commerce industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform website strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage workflow and project priorities, coordinating with the Creative team and offsite Developer as needed.
  • Lead our ADA compliance utilizing UsableNet.

Product Set-up and Optimization:

  • Assist in the product set-up process, ensuring products are correctly listed and optimized for search and conversion.
  • Regularly review and optimize product listings, including descriptions, images, and metadata to improve search engine visibility and conversion rates.
  • Identify and promote top-performing products, developing strategies to highlight and boost their visibility.

Content Management:

  • Lead and collaborate with the content team to ensure compelling product descriptions, images, and content that align with the brand's image.
  • Manage SEO initiatives, including backlinks and other organic strategies including blogs.
  • Work with the Content Team on all aspects of content development and execution.

E-commerce Strategy and Growth:

  • Develop and implement e-commerce growth strategies, with a proven track record of successful implementation and measurable achievements.
  • Utilize data-driven strategies to increase online sales, improve average order value (AOV), and enhance customer lifetime value (CLTV).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the user experience, optimize website performance, and drive e-commerce revenue.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Creative, Production, and Technology, to align e-commerce efforts with overall business objectives.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and develop a team of 2, including a Content Specialist and Web Administrator.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional growth and success.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Marketing, E-commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of e-commerce website management experience.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve performance goals.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content development, website optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience managing multiple websites and optimizing them for e-commerce conversion rates.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing website performance and analytics.
  • Knowledge of setting and tracking KPIs to measure e-commerce initiative success.
  • Experience in attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, and traffic analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in CMS management, GA4, CRM automation, Google Tag Manager, CRO Testing, and UI/UX optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms and CMS systems.
  • Demonstrated can-do attitude with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and quick to learn new software programs and technology.
  • Familiarity with data feed management tools like DatafeedWatch.
