Description:
AllCare IPA has an immediate opening for an Exempt, full time Business Intelligence Analyst, to perform a variety of tasks related to collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. This position will be responsible for inspecting, transforming, and modeling data with a keen eye for data verification, validation, integration between core and ancillary systems, and quality control. They will play a key role in business intelligence, advanced analytics, data integration, and will be involved in numerous traditional report development projects. Coordination will be made between various departments and outside vendors to drive strategic and operational improvements.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support the reporting of clinical metrics, support scheduling of patients, and other system integrations.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate key performance indicators.
· Automate data load and data analysis programs with the goal of improving efficiency.
· Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by management to support decision-making processes.
· Research and develop efficient processes for data mismatches, system audits, and lost data between entities and systems.
· Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights for optimizing processes and achieving strategic goals.
· Document new requirement specifications and process workflows. Provide feedback on design and setup during review meetings with Director of Managed Care.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes that support department and corporate goals.
· Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling is a plus.
· Various tasks as assigned by Director of Managed Care.
Prerequisites:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or related field.
· Minimum 3 years working experience in data analysis and report creation.
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer (T-SQL Programming), SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server Integration Services.
· Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and related techniques.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
· Healthcare experience in a managed care setting is preferred, but not required.
Job Benefits
· Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 per year
· Fully paid employee benefit package including health, vision, dental, LTC insurance.
