IV God's Glory LLC is now accepting applications for our Moving Helper position.

Job Summary:

The Moving Helper will assist in the safe and efficient transportation of household goods and office equipment. This role involves packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking items while ensuring that all belongings are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Packing: Carefully pack items into boxes and containers, ensuring they are secure and protected from damage.

- Loading: Load packed items onto moving trucks in an organized manner, maximizing space and ensuring safety during transit.

- Transportation: Assist in driving the moving truck (if required and licensed) and navigating routes to the new location.

- Unloading: Unload items from the truck at the destination, ensuring they are placed in the correct rooms as directed by the client.

- Unpacking: Unpack items and assist in setting up furniture and equipment as needed.

- Equipment Handling: Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads.

- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the move.

- Safety: Follow all safety protocols to prevent injuries and damages. Use proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate protective gear.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of items moved, conditions of items, and any incidents that occur during the move.

- Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance on moving equipment and/or vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

Requirements:

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

- Experience:Previous experience in moving or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

- Reliability: Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

- License: A valid driver's license may be required, especially for roles involving driving the moving truck.

Working Conditions:

- Environment: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions.

- Hours: May involve long hours, weekends, and holidays, depending on client needs and moving schedules.

- Travel: Local and long-distance travel may be required.
