Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Superintendent to oversee the construction and rehabilitation of bridge projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in building new bridges and performing bridge rehabilitation work. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of bridge construction techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of bridge construction and rehabilitation projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
• Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to specifications.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and work plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets standards and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in bridge construction and rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing bridge projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
