Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Update patient medical records with accurate and current information
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for patients
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards

Requirements:

• Certification or certificate eligible as a Medical Assistant or LPN
• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health records
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is required in this position (we pay)
• Knowledge of office procedures is a plus

Skills:

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to accurately record and interpret vital signs
• Proficiency in administering injections and medications
• Knowledge of basic laboratory tests and specimen collection techniques
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on medical conditions and treatments
