Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paint Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto painting and possess mechanical knowledge to prepare vehicles for painting.
Duties:
- Prepare vehicles for the painting process by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Use power tools and airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint
- Perform buffing and polishing to ensure a smooth finish
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle maintenance
- Utilize hand tools for various prep work on vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring quality workmanship
Experience:
- Previous experience in auto painting and vehicle preparation
- Familiarity with power tools, airless paint spraying, buffing techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during vehicle prep
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance practices such as auto glass repair is a plus
