Full Scope Management, Inc is Hiring a Program Coordinator Near Missoula, MT

Who we are

We are a busy Association Management Company (AMC) that provides support to several non-profit membership associations. We provide full-service support to associations in Montana as well as Internationally. We are seeking someone to join our team who is internally motivated towards excellence, a team player with project coordination experience and will have a passion for service. Knowledge of non-profit management is highly desirable.

The position will be responsible for:

  • Participating in committee meetings: scheduling meetings, preparing agenda, taking minutes, follow up tasks.
  • Association coordination: working with membership, board tasks, monitoring budgets, etc.
  • Conference coordination: program development in conjunction with the planning committee, speaker coordination, logistics (audio-visual, catering, set-up, etc.), participating onsite, etc.
  • Grant and contract tasks: writing progress and summary reports, submitting invoices, ensuring all reporting and deadlines are met.
  • Mentoring and scholarship program: creating online submission forms, updating webpage, eblasts, monitoring applications, working with the committee to match mentors and mentees, and select recipients.
  • Work with the Executive Director to document the policies, procedures and guidelines for governance, business processes and staff positions.

Other knowledge, skills and experience include the following:

  • Grant coordination — Knowledge of contract coordination. Ability to understand and provide guidance on federal regulations related to non-profit and government grants.
  • Technical Aptitude – Demonstrated ability to learn and fully utilize technology platforms.
  • Basic website skills – Ability to make basic edits to websites.
  • Verbal and Written Communication— Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Financial Aptitude — Skill in budget review and ability to stay within budget for events.
  • Complex Problem Solving — Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team.
  • Planning and Coordination — Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate among members of the team and between other departments or external organizations in support of training and other projects.
  • Organization – Skill in maintaining a high level of organization with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Skill in time management.
  • Travel – Ability to travel for up to one week at a time for conferences, potentially internationally.
  • Learning and Self-development - A self-directed learner with an appetite for developing a deeper understanding of wildland fire management globally

Position details

  • This position requires a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience.
  • Approximately 15-20 hours/week.
  • $20-25/hour based on experience.
  • This can be a remote position if needed, occasional travel to Missoula, MT will be required (Est. 4/times year)
  • Travel to conferences is required (5-7 days approximately 2 times/year)
  • This will be an employee position although contractors will be considered.
