Busy Orthopedic Surgery office in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist with at least 3 years of Orthopedic billing and collections experience. Must be familiar with orthopedic codes, modifiers, authorizations, review of claims and other related tasks. This position is part of an experienced Business Office team who utilizes an outside billing company for routine claims submission and patient billing questions. This position is responsible for more advanced projects including account analysis and AR follow up for all payers including Medicare, HMO, Workers’ Comp. Experience with NextGen and EPIC are a plus. The position is full time position with a generous benefit package. Normal office hours are 8:00 to 5:00 but there is some flexibility in the work schedule.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
