Financial Analyst

· Provide financial and business analysis across key operations and functions of the business including store performance, budgeting, real estate analytics, etc.

· Support monthly close procedures including, but not limited, to ASC 842 entries and analysis, percentage rent reconciliations, fixed asset tracking and actual to budget variance analysis.

· Utilize Aptos / Epicor's Query Designer and Business Intelligence Development Studio as well as Great Plains General Ledger/Management Report Writer to substantiate financial transactions by auditing supporting documentation.

· Respond to accounting procedural questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.

· Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external parties to maximize performance and results.

· Various ad hoc analyses.

· Support daily/ weekly/ monthly business reporting requirements.

· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and interim forecasting.

· Prepare real estate pro forma analyses to support the new store opening decision process.

· Support team in providing audit requests.

· Support the operations team with reporting. Interpreting and responding to financial questions from the field including but not limited to budgeting, payroll, commissions, ad hoc reporting, ext.

Experience / Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience

- Analytical, hardworking, organized, driven, self starter and a quick learner

- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization

- Ability to work independently, and proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance

- Knowledge of US GAAP

- Demonstrated proficiency in various PC applications including Excel (very strong), SQL

server, Epicor (Aptos), Prolease, Great Plains, Crystal, etc.
