The Electronics Assembler will be responsible for: Building a variety of cable assemblies using drawings and procedures. Perform verification tests to cables once completed. Assemble electronic controllers using drawings and procedures. Perform detailed testing to control units to verify compliance to all specifications. Perform simple continuity tests and calibrations. Maintain control over required inventory and ensure that all bins are correctly labeled. Maintain a neat and organized work area. Work closely with engineering to correct and improve product and procedures. Work closely with others within the electronics area and other work areas as required.

1. Assemble complex electronic controllers and cables using detailed drawings or processes. (50%)
2. Perform product verification and testing to ensure product meets all internal specifications and or customer specifications. (30%)
3. Assist other production departments with workflow as needed. (20%)
4. Other duties as assigned

5. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Education/Skills

  • Prefer the candidate to have 3 years of electronics assembly experience. However, we are willing to train on the job.
  • Candidate should be certified in soldering or have received training in proper soldering skills. (Willing to train & certify)
  • Candidate should be certified or have received training in ESD. (Willing to train & certify)
  • Candidate should have good knowledge of electronic components and a basic understanding of their function.
  • Candidate should be able to use simple hand tools required to perform job tasks.
  • Candidate should be able to use a DVM to perform simple continuity tests.
  • Candidate must be willing to perform more complex testing of control units and perform required calibrations.
  • Candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings and procedures in English.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with co-workers, engineering and management.
  • Candidate must be willing to perform a variety of tasks outside of their own work area when asked.
  • Candidate must be able to perform in a fast paced, changing work environment with minimal supervision.
