We at Fairview Health Services are looking for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to be based out of our Riverside Sleep Clinic in Minneapolis, MN! This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible. Pay for this role starts at $34.21 and increases based on experience.
The Sleep Clinic at Fairview are education destination because of our M Health partnership, so we have fellows and students from the MCTC program. This is a multidisciplinary clinic covering all aspects of sleep; Obstructive Sleep Apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and more.
Responsibilities Job DescriptionA RPT performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis and valuate overnight polysomnograms. They will operate medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. The RPT will apply recording devices, cleans/sterilizes equipment, and monitors polysomnograms. The Tech will also evaluate care and patients' response to interventions.
High standard of creative prioritization skills and priority setting. Shown focus on customer service/patient service with every interaction. Excellent public relations and interpersonal/communication skills. Work as an effective team member to deliver outstanding care. Ability to use appropriate computer applications. Capable of working independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and is dedicated to the Fairview Values. Ability to accept change and empower those around you to engage in ongoing process improvement.
