General Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students in their academic journey and fostering a positive learning environment? Minerva Area Christian School is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Elementary Aide to join our team. This position will play a vital role in assisting teachers in the classroom, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping with lunch and recess duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the classroom with instruction and classroom management.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional support or attention.
• Help with lunch and recess duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
• Complete administrative tasks for teachers, such as making copies and retrieving classroom materials.
• Provide additional assistance to students who struggle with focusing or need extra attention.
• Work independently to reach students who require additional assistance outside of the classroom.
• Coordinate schedule with the Elementary Division Coordinator and report to the Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Eligible for or in possession of certification or licensure through the Ohio Department of Education.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Ability to pass FBI and BCI background checks.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
