With over a decade of experience in fresh food manufacturing, we understand the intricate and delicate balance of taking a recipe and producing it on a grand scale while still maintaining the recipe’s integrity. 

We take full advantage of the abundance of local ingredients available to us in Portland to create our soups, chilis, chowders, entrées, sauces, marinades, and puddings also including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options and are looking for someone who relates to our company culture to join the team!

Job Description:

Prepare raw materials for recipes by chopping, cutting, weighing, and measuring ingredients.

Requirements

• Measure, weigh, and accurately prepare various spices for production according to specified recipes.
• Break down bulk spice items for easy use in production.
• Wipe down, sanitize, and dry the workspace in between each spice preparation task.
• Clean and sanitize the entire spice preparation room, machinery, product containers, flooring, tables, sinks, and walls.
• Assemble machinery for spice preparation tasks.
• Utilize machinery to cut and process raw materials.
• Place spice ingredients on designated recipe rack shelves for easy access.
• Move rack shelving throughout the facility as needed.
• Confirm all spice raw materials are ready for production according to the schedule.
• Verify spice recipes against the production schedule to ensure accuracy.
• Hand cut raw materials as needed to meet recipe requirements.
• Weigh spices accurately for each batch/recipe.
• Other duties as assigned.
