Assistant Food Service Director
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53222
Job Summary
The Assistant Food Service Director will assist the Food Service Director in managing the daily operations of the food service department. This includes overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety and sanitation, managing inventory, and supervising staff. The Assistant Food Service Director will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Food Service Director in managing the daily operations of the food service department
- Oversee food preparation and ensure food safety and sanitation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Supervise staff and provide training and coaching as needed
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure compliance with all food service regulations and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food service management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management software
