Creation Technologies International Inc is Hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Near Milwaukee, WI

The Production Supervisor/Manufacturing Leader is a critical member of Creation's Operations Team responsible for supervising and coordinating employees for the second shift from 3 pm to midnight. A successful candidate in this role will have a positive, proactive approach to daily work with strong communication and organizational skills. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with other Manufacturing Leaders to ensure effective utilization of production staff, including cell captains and team members. Participate/coordinate in daily tier accountability meetings to ensure production goals are met. Monitor key performance metrics (OTD, Quality, P&L, Inventory) for each customer and drive improvement through planning and execution. Perform a variety of Oracle transactions and inquiries (Open Order Reports, Job Completions, Material Transaction History and Adjustments). Effectively manage staff performance by measuring and monitoring output to targeted goals. Participate in hiring, employee relations, employee engagement to select and retain valuable staff. Manage a group of Cell Leaders assigned to various customers. Attend weekly meetings with Human Resources and other business unit leaders. Conduct weekly meeting with cell leaders. Daily interaction with Customer Focus Teams (CFT) and customers to ensure customer requirements are met. Daily/hourly monitoring of cells’ output/problems/costs. Perform continuous improvement of cell groups Balance production lines to ensure smooth production flow. Implement 5S, as well as participate in 5S audits (quarterly) of other areas. Work with Director of Operations on staffing requirements. Make recommendations to Planners on order changes based on inventory availability and capacity constraints QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Five years of experience in electronics/electrical assembly. One year of supervisory experience. Ability to read and understand electronic/electrical schematics and prints. Ability to coordinate multiple operations to produce a product. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving a plus SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent planning and time management skills. Strong computer skills required, including Excel, Word, and experience in using an ERP or MRP system (Oracle is preferred). Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to communicate in a proactive positive sense, even when delivering negative messages Ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must be detail oriented, organized, and have ability to inspire others Leadership, interpersonal, team building, and coaching skills are essential Ability to effectively problem solve solutions in a rapidly changing environment WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Physical Demands This position will work in a typical office type environment however will spend an extended amount of time standing or walking in a production environment. The incumbent must possess enough strength to safely maneuver around archived materials up to 25lbs without injury to themselves or others. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) are necessary. Mental Demands Emotionally capable of professionally handling high-pressure situations in a fast paced, highly demanding industry Working Conditions Equal mix of office and production environment. Required to wear safety clothing and gears when working in safety sensitive environments. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $65,000.00- $75,000.00 annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
