Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. Our Community Action Team (CAT) serves children in homes, schools and daycare settings to help lower the risk of hospitalization, reduce contact with law enforcement and improve functioning within the home, school and community settings. The goal is to help the child/adolescent and family become successful in the environment where they live, preventing the need for residential treatment.

CAT services are provided in a supportive and interactive manner and directed toward maintaining or restoring positive family relationships. The program provides services such as: family and individual therapy, Wraparound team management, parent coaching, therapeutic mentoring, and nursing. CAT clients are frequently seen by the psychiatrist or psychiatrist ARNP.

In Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, CAT serves adolescents ages 6 to 21.

Overview:

The Office Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the daily administrative tasks of the Community Action Team (CAT) including providing direct support to the CAT services providers to ensure an effective and efficient operation for the Unit as well as CAT families served. Serves as an assistant to the Clinical Manager for day to day needs of management of the CAT Team and its interface with other entities across the organization and the communities served.

Role Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. 
• Five (5) years of related experience. • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization. 
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, copiers and fax machines. 
• Proficient with internet, spreadsheet, word processing, and scanned image software • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. 
• Ability to work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedures of the agency and assigned program division. 
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff. 
• Ability to effectively relate to a variety of individuals, including persons living with a mental illness and/or substance use disorder, persons with developmental disabilities, family members of persons served, and co-workers. 
• Ability to problem solve and advocate for persons served.
• Ability to assist in maintaining a therapeutic and safe environment.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $17.5038 - $18.7548
