La Jolla Behavior Services is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (Fremont) Near Milpitas, CA

To support our growing company and commitment to quality care, the associates of La Jolla Behavior Services are seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to join our therapy team.

We believe in quality of care and ethical ABA programs to help our clients and their families achieve real world results to the extent of their abilities. Joining our team, means a commitment to these values and our commitment to you and your growth within the ABA field.

This is an hourly, non-exempt, part-time position, and you will be an integral part of the therapy team, working directly with children and families. PLEASE READ ALL JOB DETAILS.

Required Qualifications:

  • Passionate about helping children on the spectrum and seeing their progress and growth
  • Adaptable with the ability to work and build rapport with children/individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Understand the importance of your role in supporting children with autism including consistency maintaining your schedule
  • Commitment to working a flexible part-time schedule
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, car insurance, clean driving record
  • TB test, background check, reference check & COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to stand/sit/kneel for extended periods of time
  • (Preferred) Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other Behavioral/Developmental deficits
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals and parents to help children succeed in their goals and development

As a Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Empower children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families to reach their full potential - helping them grow, learn and reach milestones
  • Provide ABA services in an in-home setting in the
  • Input valid behavior data and accurate clinical documentation into our digital data collection platform
  • Collaborate with BCBA’s and peers to overview clients progress and implement new programs based on milestones reached
  • Implement programs created by BCBA with fidelity, compassion and quality
  • Manage and respond to challenging behaviors according to plan
  • Meet weekly virtually for professional development and training

Successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding and passion for engaging with children/individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ideal candidates have experience teaching developmentally appropriate skills and social interactions while implementing behavior reduction protocols.   • Sunday 8am-8pm
