Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Procurement Administrator to work in the Procurement Division located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position requires full performance level of work procuring equipment, services, construction, supplies information technology, and other needs through the competitive or negotiated procurement process.
Procurement Administrators are responsible for soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and awarding contracts in accordance with procurement laws and regulations, along with managing the procurement process from RFP, IFB to Purchase Order processing (start to finish) and providing support to the assigned Groups to ensure all procurement and purchasing processes are streamlined. Performs necessary purchasing procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services such as heavy equipment, large tools, motor vehicles, automated office equipment and supplies, fuels, chemicals, consulting services, industrial equipment, and service and construction contracts, as needed by assigned Group.
Procurement Administrators receive supervision from the Chief of Procurement and Purchasing. This role is assigned to two Groups (TES, EDR, W/WW, EO, or Administration), and is the main contact for the assigned Groups and manages all aspects of the Group's procurement activities.
Estimated Pay Range:
$67,350.73 - $92,607.25

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in fields of supply chain, procurement, engineering or Business or any field. Certification in CPPB or CPPO is a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points.
