Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work closely with individuals requiring behavioral health support, implementing treatment plans, and providing compassionate care.
Duties:
- Implement behavior management techniques as outlined in individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient care and support in various settings
- Utilize crisis intervention strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following HIPAA guidelines
- Assist in crisis management situations as needed
Skills:
- Experience or background in behavioral health, social work, or related field
- Knowledge of PTSD care and crisis management techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism
