APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple ICU Registered Nurse for our client in Milledgeville, GA position for a 12/13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

Position Title: ICU Registered Nurse Pay Rate: $45 - 48/Hourly Work Location: Milledgeville, GA Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 07:30)
Hours/day: 8 Hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Required:
- Must have 2 years exp in specialty mid to large hospital, level 1 or 2 experience
- BLS/ ACLS Certificate
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, monitoring vital signs, and identifying any changes or deterioration.
- Critical Care Interventions: Administer and monitor critical medications, fluids, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform advanced medical procedures as required in the ICU setting.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to formulate and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Ventilator Management: Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, ensuring proper settings and adjustments based on patients' respiratory needs.
- Continuous Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track patients' physiological parameters and respond promptly to any deviations.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and providing emotional support during critical moments.
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and codes within the ICU, demonstrating proficiency in advanced life support techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Education and Training: Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care and participate in ongoing education and training programs. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the ICU.
