Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be assemble parts of various materials such as metal or stainless steel in order to produce band components or subassemblies for flexible rubber connectors by performing the following duties:
Duties:
· Operates Heim to cut metal or stainless steel to length.
· Operates power press to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal stock.
· Welds metal components together with spot welding equipment.
· Grinds parts using an abrasive disk.
· Positions parts in specified relationship to each other. Bolts, screws, clips, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
· Works at bench as member of assembly group assembling one or two specific parts.
· Loads and unloads previously set-up machines such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot-welding machines and riveting machines.
· Performs daily and weekly inspections of equipment.
· Checks quality of product.
· Works at different work stations as production needs require.
· Maintains good housekeeping practices at workstation and surrounding area.

Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to use hands or feet in the operation of machinery. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally 20-30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
