Mitchell Homes is seeking a Drafter skilled in Revit to join our team as Lead Drafter and Drafting Department Manager. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent work habits, efficiency, accuracy, speed, and ability to determine most efficient and effective methods to accomplish goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This positions main objective is to produce accurate Revit drawings for residential homes, review project files, and manage the department to become efficient and effective at it's tasks.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

• Produces Sales drawings for customer approval and Permit drawings for county approval
• Works directly with county permitting departments around VA, MD, and NC, estimating department, sales department, lumber suppliers, cabinet company, and engineers

Position Requirements:

• Degree in drafting/design - experience in Revit is a MUST
• Experience and comfort in using Revit is non-negotiable. We will use Revit to produce ALL of our drawings
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, accomplish goals, strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• Exceptional follow up skills with the ability to formulate solutions to resolve issues in the most efficient way possible
• Quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We need someone who can draft plans quickly and accurately in Revit. We value efficiency and will reward team members who excel
• A positive attitude and easy-going personality is a must!
• Ability to work under pressure

Salary will be dependent on level of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
