Foodlove Market is looking for a Barista to join the team.
A chef-driven retail food market in Middletown, Rhode Island, born from our restaurant roots, Foodlove Market provides customers a diverse opportunity that encompasses the many ways people make their decisions around meals and grocery.
About the Position : In the Barista role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee / other beverages and food / baked goods to customers.
About You : You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally.
You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.
Essential Duties :
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested
- Serves prepared foods and baked goods
- Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and seating and service area.
- Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.

- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Prior experience a plus but not required

- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
