Compensation
$52,000-$58,000
Individuals with any and all lab experience or equivalent educational experience encouraged to apply!
Primary Duties
- Responsible for analyzing materials, including, asphalt, aggregates, and emulsions
- Operates, maintains, and cleans laboratory testing equipment and workspace
- Accurately performs testing of aggregates and asphalt products according to DOT specifications and company quality control plans
- Record and maintain quality control reports
- Analyze data, troubleshoot, and recommend process control adjustments under the supervision of the quality control manager
- Follow and help others to follow all company safety policies and procedures
Experience and Physical Requirements
- Previous lab experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be upbeat and willing to learn all aspects of the position
- Able to be flexible with duties and working hours
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without assistance
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
- Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
- Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, Overtime as required
- Some travel may be required at satellite locations for a month at a time on request. (20%)
