A. Purpose and Scope

The Extrusion Packer is responsible for the packing of extruded product.

B. Responsibilities

1) Cut plastic stock to size using automated cutters

2) Inspect product and completed items for function, quality and conformance to detail sheet and control plan specifications.

3) Prepare product for shipping including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product

4) Operate hydraulic presses and punches

5) Work independently and in teams to ensure a quality product

6) Keep equipment and work area clean

7) Follow ISO procedures

The Extrusion Packer reports to their assigned Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

A. Required Core Competencies

To qualify for the Extrusion Packer position, the candidate is required to have :

1) Demonstrated aptitude for the position

2) Demonstrated basic math skills

3) Prior manufacturing experience is preferred

B. Training Requirements

The Extrusion Packer is required to complete training exercises in, or demonstrate a working

knowledge of :

1) On-the-job training in the Extrusion Department.

2) Understanding of the Incentive system.

3) Must maintain fully satisfactory production performance levels.

4) ISO procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Policy.
