Our Maintenance Technicians provide:

• Professional and courteous service at all times;
• Assist Management with all maintenance and preventative maintenance to include: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc;
• Perform outside custodial duties as required; Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time;
• Understand and practice all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards;
• Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for your hotel. This may include but not limited to repairing doors, door locks and closets, etc;
• Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly;
• Reports all safety and security concerns to the Management immediately;
• Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist;
• Participates in ongoing maintenance programs for event space, public space, kitchens and all convention center equipment;
• Performs inventory duties as required; Maintains cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscaping;
• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all work-space and storage areas;
• Ensures cleanliness and working condition of pool and Fitness Center. This is to include checking pool water everyday throughout the day and maintain appropriate records;
• Attends staff meetings;

Additional Job Requirements:

• Hotel experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train.
• Ability to work with all types of people.
• Complete projects as determined by the Management; Nights, weekends, and holidays required;
• Have computer skills and the ability to learn hotel operating system, MS office and internet.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
