**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during examinations and treatment procedures

- Take and develop dental X-rays

- Maintain accurate patient medical records

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining accurate records

- Knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection

- Ability to perform dental X-rays and assist with patient assessments

- Experience with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Understanding of medical terminology
