Come join our team at Illuminate ABA Therapy! We are looking for an Intervention Specialist to provide Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) and John Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) services for our clients with autism and other disabilities. No more than 16 students on your caseload – with additional support of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) within the classroom – always!
This position would be in-person at our Middleburg Heights clinic location. Our hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 7:30-4:30, with students with 9:00-3:30
Friday: 7:30-2:00 with no students (admin, planning, etc.)
Year round academic and IEP services are provided.
Days Off: Christmas Day, New Years Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day and Labor Day.
Benefits: PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401k, etc.
Salary: $45-60k based on education and experience
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Education: Intervention Specialist
-Valid teaching license in the State of Ohio
Job Duties:
-Identify and assess a child’s unique educational needs
- Prepare daily lesson plans, plan strategies, and activities to meet identified needs of students, implement student Individual Education Programs (IEP)
-Collaborates with student’s school district, BCBAs, and parents/guardians to create and implement IEP goals and objectives; participate in IEP meetings and IEP development
-Collaborate with BCBAs and parents/guardians to create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
-Maintains data collection and documentation
-Acts as supervisor of students and RBTs during daily classroom activities
-Provide direction, guidance and modeling to RBTs to establish techniques, teaching practices, and coordination of implementation of program goals and objectives
-Quarterly progress report writing and meeting with parents/guardians
-Navigating and utilizing OH|ID ASP/JPSN portal
