C.H. Robinson, a leader in global logistics, is looking to hire a Logistics Representative to work onsite with our customer, Ocean Spray. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing customer supply chain information and data within C.H. Robinson’s Transportation Management System, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
As a Logistics Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information and making all necessary transportation arrangements. You will independently manage, foster, and maintain relationships with your assigned customer(s), serving as an essential extension of their staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Perform relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes
  • Facilitate customer calls, emails, and updates while providing best in class customer service
  • Conduct C.H. Robinson systems trainings to external C.H. Robinson customer representatives
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Serve as a logistics expert and provide suggestions to customers to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
  • Utilize project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • Information systems acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Ability to present to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to an ambiguous and changing environment
