The IT Sr. Business Analyst is a strategic problem solver essential to our IT department s success. He/ she will work closely with our business counterparts to identify IT solutions in business functional areas, interpreting the stakeholders business goals into specific deliverables, and technical requirements. The IT BA will help businesses implement technology solutions in a cost effective way, will analyze the flow of data and predict what changes in infrastructure will be necessary as the business grows.

• Identifies and documents business, functional, and user requirements. Lead the team in integrating and implementing systems and applications, and provide help desk third tier support to customers as needed.
• Interface with customers for requirements clarifications, identify gaps and fill gaps.
• Prepares traceability matrices during the requirements gathering process to include matching of the high-level design requirements with detailed design requirements, test plan and test cases.
• Develop training material and provide training to customers.
• Partner with program manager, quality assurance and developers to ensure product integrity.
• Ensure customer requirements and needs are met through the development of the product.
• Coordinate meetings with customers for reviews, clarifications etc.
• Maintains documentation of procedures and processes developed and/or revised to ensure business continuity of work.
• Participates in Issues Resolution and Change Management processes.
• Timely response to help desk assignments.
• Accountable for managing customer response service level agreement.
• Manages internal projects and tasks as assigned.

Establishes timelines and effectively communicates with team members while taking responsibility and accountability of own work load.

• Provides status reports to Project Manager.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education/ Years of Related Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, business technology or related field with seven plus years of related software experience.

• Technical expertise must include MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project and familiarity of relational database queries.
• Demonstrable skills in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to completion is important for all IT Business Analysts.
• Ability to work independently and establish a positive working rapport, coach and guide end users, and multitask within a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for working with all stakeholders.

• IT Business Analysts must have the ability to understand the team s challenges and develop solutions.
• IT Business Analysts should be familiar with various types of project management and business analysis software. Proficiency in spreadsheets is also important.
• Flexibility approach and adaptaility to a growing, non structure environment.
