Studio Rodrigo Buelvas works in the intersection of architecture, interior design, creative direction, furniture, and objects, creating projects with intriguing narratives and perspectives. The studio approaches projects by mixing methods of creativity research within our design realm.

Based in Miami since 2020, the studio now encompasses a holistic team of detail-oriented designers. The studio has a pull toward human-centered design and believes in making a difference by collaborating with other disciplines. 

Role Description

This is a hybrid role, offering some flexibility for remote work.

As a Junior Interior Designer, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Demonstrate an understanding of Interior and Architectural building materials and finishes, building systems, specifications, applicable building codes, and detailing standards and construction techniques.
• Understand all phases of design including space planning, design concept development, design documentation, construction documentation, shop drawings, F.F.&E., materials selection and specifications.
• Produce presentations and deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, and animations.
• Effectively communicatesinternally through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.
• Apply analytical and conceptual design abilities to effectively move the design of a project forward.
• Manage time efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines and commitments.
• Perform day-to-day tasks assigned by Creative Director, and Junior and Senior Interior Designers.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and other graphic software.
