Incubation Systems Private Limited is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician Near Miami, FL

Job Description:

  • This position requires a person who has some knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences.
  • The candidate will perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the laboratory manager.
  • General responsibilities include maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preparation of reagents and controls

Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation

  • Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
  • Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible
  • Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned CORE

Education:

  • Associate Degree- with 3 years’ experience
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years’ experience
  • Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
