Looking for a Veterinary Technician (CVT Preferred) (Experience Preferred)
35-40 hours a week/including weekends or part-time 20-25 hours a week/including weekends
Must have excellent customer service skills and be a team player.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Vet Tech Position:
Animal handling and restraint, venipuncture and catheter placement, blood drawing, sterile surgical preparation, anesthetic monitoring, drug calculation & pharmacy, radiology and lab procedures, dental cleaning, in charge of inventory, and ordering, client education and communication, IV/SQ/IM injection administration, exam room check-in, presentation of treatment plans, invoicing, janitorial duties (dusting, mopping, sanitation of surgery and treatment area, cleaning animal waste), daily use of Idexx Neo Veterinary software. Also, job requirements would be all upkeep of in-house lab equipment, radiology and isolation station, surgical room, kennel room and treatment area upkeep as well. Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more.
