Ovise has partnered on this search with an industry leading retail company. Joining as a Principal DevOps Engineer, you'll be integral to their Infrastructure Team, overseeing AWS operations. Collaborating closely with various departments, you'll manage diverse applications and spearhead the transition to a native AWS environment. They're seeking a seasoned developer with extensive AWS knowledge and a focus on optimizing performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain AWS infrastructure.
• Enhance performance, monitoring, and security measures.
• Refine deployment pipelines.
• Assist developers with access and deployment.
• Optimize high-traffic websites.
• Develop automation tools.
• Monitor and manage AWS spending.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in Infrastructure, Dev support roles or ideally come from a Software Development background.
• Previous experience in a DevOps Engineering role within a sizeable AWS/Cloud setup.
• Proficiency with DevOps best practices and the AWS CLI.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Groovy, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS.
• Experience with AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.
