Summer House is a small medical substance abuse detox in Miami, FL. We are professional, compassionate and our goal is to safe and effectively detox patients who suffer from The disease of addiction. We do this by caring and being non-judgmental. We are a Google 5.0 rating from 546 patients
Our work environment consists of a 2 member team. "Books" and "meds" Intakes, and inventory.
This is for 3 days in a work week.
Our organization is currently seeking Registered Nurses who are experienced and qualified to join our Acute Care Inpatient team. Whether you're a RN who wants to change from a hospital setting, or a new graduate RN, this is the perfect opportunity for the skilled and compassionate professional who enjoys working with other medical professionals in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: COMPASSION
- Examine patients, diagnose their conditions, and plan, administer, and evaluate treatment.
- Assess patients' responses to treatments and medications and make adjustments as necessary.
- Instruct patients, family members, and visitors in treatment procedures and medication administration.
- Communicate with other healthcare providers regarding patients' progress or problems.
- Calculate dosages of medications and measure solutions to be administered.
- Be familiar with hospital policies, procedures, and facilities.
- Respond to call lights quickly; evaluate the problem; help nurses and other staff as necessary; keep nurses informed about the patient's condition; notify physician or charge nurse if medical attention is needed.
- Supervise nursing staff to ensure that they maintain proper standards of care for patients.
- Influence management regarding nursing policies and patient care.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
