Description:

Coordinate full process product development for food manufacturer from Marketing to production.

R&D Responsibilities

• • As the R&D coordinator you will work as the central hub of product development

• Coordinate with external vendors for ingredients and other material needs in order to fulfill organizational needs

• Collects and enters formulation and yield information.

• Maintains information regarding ingredient specifications, formulas, processes and analytical data such as quality attributes, yield information, and sensory results.

• Support cost-out initiatives on existing products and process; follows through with in-plant trials.

• Reports on the Sample Status to team members and discusses any implications to the business

• Collaborate with Marketing, test kitchen and production and execution of new product development

• Assist in the preparation and submission or regulatory documentation, packaging and labeling

• Maintain accurate and updated records of project data

• Work as liaison between Marketing and test kitchen

• Perform weight reviews to ensure product stays within required specifications during production

• Conduct supplier questionaries'

• Update and review product labels and specifications in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

4 years degree in food science or equivalent. Experience with no degree considered.
