Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and forward-thinking Financial Analyst / Accountant to join our Administrative Services department.

The successful candidate will

· play a crucial role in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis to support informed decision-making by municipal leadership.

· be responsible for performing internal accounting and reporting of city revenues and expenses.

· perform various finance project duties as assigned by the Finance Director, including monthly reconciliations and general ledger accounting procedures.

· assist in preparation of the Annual Budget, Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and Popular Annual Financial Report.

· help to ensure compliance with city’s financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or business is required. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three to five years experience in cash management and accounting, excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, and have a strong commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.

Benefits:
