LHH is Hiring a Collection specialist Near Mesquite, TX

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-known Wholesaler Group to hire a Credit and Collections Specialist on a permanent basis in the Mesquite area paying between $50-$55K annual salary.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of full-cycle Credit and Collections experience with an emphasis on credit approvals and high volume collections.

  • Perform past due account collection services, contacting customers to fulfill account payment terms and collect on overdue invoices.
  • Perform credit research on new customer and establish corresponding credit limits consistent with company credit guidelines.

Provide existing customer credit approvals consistent with company credit guidelines.

  • Timely and efficient collections of the company’s accounts receivables.
  • The approval of new orders on customer accounts.
  • Provide good customer service through dispute resolution.
  • Provide support to the credit team by assisting with credit report updates.
  • On a daily basis this candidate will review regularly the status of collections to ensure accounts receivable are meeting the company goals for DBT (Days beyond terms), % Current, and % Over 90.
  • Discusses delinquent accounts with sales team and credit manager as needed.
  • Act as an intermediary between sales and customer to help resolve disputes, resulting from but not limited to, pricing, invoicing errors and credit memos.
  • Reviews orders on credit hold.
  • Prepare and maintain credit department files and run various periodic credit department reports.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
