- Job Title: Construction Estimator
- Job Location: Merritt Island, FL
- Job Type: Full-time / Direct-hire
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects based on scope of work, drawings, and other supporting documentation.
- Review bid documents and request clarifications as needed. Analyze project data to create accurate cost estimates. Research and develop resources for cost comparison.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of bids.
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective solutions are obtained.
- 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Knowledge of Commercial Construction, General Construction, HVAC, Electrical, Roofing, and Water Treatment, etc.
- Knowledge of construction for the Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, NASA, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
