Turman & Eimer LLP is actively seeking a Senior Tax Associate (with excellent growth potential) to join their staff. The ideal candidate would possess 5 years of relative public accounting experience with strong capabilities to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for preparing federal, state and local tax returns for S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships, Individuals, & Trusts

·Assist in coordinating various tax planning and advisory services to individuals, partnerships and corporations

·Build and maintain an impactful working relationship with new and existing clients to ensure overall satisfaction

·Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues, respond to the IRS and various state agency inquiries

·Strong organization skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task on complex engagements

·Ability to work efficiently while meeting firm deadlines

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Significant attention to detail & highly organized

·Can work as a team member or independently to accomplish firm objectives

Qualifications

·5 years of relevant public accounting experience

·Bachelor's degree in accounting

·CPA (Required)

·Computer Skills – Lacerte Tax, QuickBooks & QBO, Microsoft Office
