Atlas Roofing Web Technologies is seeking an Electronic/Instrumentation Electrician for Meridian, MSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must be able to maintain current computer programs for efficient equipment operation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include Travel Requirements)
  • Troubleshoot/repair equipment, PLC pneumatically controlled devices, and hydraulically powered systems, via laptop PC.
  • Preventive maintenance of production line equipment.
  • Operate and work with production technicians to solve problems on production equipment in an expedient manner.
  • Possess the ability to work well and effectively communicate with other electrical and/or mechanical craftsman, and plant operating personnel is essential. The ability to follow and take direction is critical.
  • Able to use various pieces of electrical test equipment such as, but not limited to multimeters, meggars, clamp-on ammeters, laptops, PLC and computer controlled equipment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics for repair, installation and maintenance is essential.
  • Experience in troubleshooting 480V 3 phase circuits.
  • Knowledge of production related equipment, including maintenance experience.
  • ISA CSST certification is a plus but not required.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic control circuitry knowledge is a plus.
  • Must have a working knowledge of safe work practices and have demonstrated safe work practices in the past, with a good safety record.
  • Must be able to respond and handle call out requests and be stand-by ready, having reliable communication through telephones and reliable transportation to respond to call out requests.
  • Install, maintain, repair, calibrate and test a wide variety of industrial instrumentation that record, indicate, control and regulate level, flow, pressure, temperature, position and water analysis. This shall include manipulating interface logic to insure interface displays are accurately represented and/or controlling processes.
  • Recommend equipment, place PO’s and maintain inventory of parts.

  • Reading Ability: Advanced –ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations. Ability to present information to and respond from questions from groups of managers, customers, employees or the general public.
  • Computer skills: Word – beginner level (memos, letters, formatting)
  • Tools: Must be able to use power tools, including electrical testing and measuring equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (include certificates, licenses, or registrations required):
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. (One (1) year as a Class “B” Electrician and one (1) year as a Class “C” Electrician).
  • Certificate of completion from having successfully completed designated Class “C” and Class “B” Electrician TPC training modules.
  • Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime.
