Job Title : Credit Applications Specialist 1

Location : Corporate Satellite Office Meridian, Idaho

Starting Salary : $16.00 - $20.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Hourly

Work Environment : In-Person, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Summary :

The Credit Applications Specialist performs a variety of tasks in support of the Credit Department to include cash applications and sales tax exemption certificate maintenance.

There is a high importance for this position to maintain detailed and accurate records in the system of record (SAP).

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Applying accurate and timely payments to customer accounts
  • Creating daily wire reports and processing EDI payments
  • Completing offset and adjustments each day
  • Auditing and maintaining a daily reconciliation of payments
  • Assist Credit Specialists in research and investigation of account statuses

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of professional experience in a office environment, preference will be given to financial experience.
  • Comfortable navigating computers and various programs.

Additional Skills :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent customer service and clerical skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effective communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

Physical Demands :

  • The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand;
  • walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance;

stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Travel : This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
