Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, automation technologies, and troubleshooting within an industrial setting. This role involves the installation, service, and repair of electrical components and systems used in automated manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, Service, and repair automation systems:** Work with wiring, control systems, and automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues:** Identify and resolve electrical problems in automation systems quickly and efficiently.

- Collaborate with engineering teams:** Work closely with engineers to implement automation projects and improve system functionality.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards:** Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

- Update technical documentation:** Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and modifications to electrical systems.

- Train and mentor junior staff:** Provide guidance and support to less experienced electricians to foster skill development and adherence to best practices.

**Qualifications:**

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation and electrical systems.

- Skills:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

- Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Servo systems, and Pneumatic Systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various mechanical components.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

- Programming Experience (Preferred): Experience with PLC, Robotic, and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programming is a plus.

- Certifications: Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent preferred. Additional certifications in industrial automation are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.

- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
