Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide information about our menu offerings
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after each shift
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in time management to ensure prompt service to customers
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients
