The Waterjet Operator position is part of the Machine Department Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
- Perform set up and operate waterjet
- Inspection of finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Complete simple secondary features (tapping, counter sink, counter bore)
- Clean and deburr finished parts
- Stays on task and ensures current day scheduled work is completed on time
- Maintains an organized, safe, and clean work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
Systems Used
- Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
- SyteLine
- UKG
Requirements
- Completion of a technical program in machining preferred
- Two years’ experience operating a waterjet preferred
- Strong problem solving and math skills
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Experience in reading blueprints
