Continental Properties is looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Construction team.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will foster relationships with both internal and external team members. You will be leading the construction management activities for three to five projects for our rental housing communities which include workforce housing, market rate and build to rent projects. Acting as a liaison for the GC with various internal stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered according to budget, schedule, plans, and quality standards. You will also have the opportunity to develop and train team members. You will report to the Director of Construction - Field Execution.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Understand building costs and methods when reviewing budgets or change orders and schedule
• Review and comment on all project plans (building and site) for economy, compliance with current budget, adherence to specs, and practicality
• Manage our General Contractors. Adhere to proper preparation and documentation of all assigned projects
• Possess significant knowledge of all project plans, specifications, Owner Exhibits AIA contracts, purchase orders, shop drawings, submittals and all other project related documents
• Maintain and monitor accurate company and construction data/reporting (BAR, Procore, etc.)

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience required
• 5 years experience in Construction Project Management required; experience in Multifamily Construction
• Knowledge of code requirements, municipal process, permit requirements including certificates of occupancy
